Alex Bell
Alex Bell is the founder and Managing Director of Madison Wells, and an executive recruiter specializing in the placement of market research and advanced analytics professionals. Alex began his recruiting career in the spring of 2000 on the corner of Madison and Wells in Chicago, IL. Prior to launching Madison Wells, Alex was a Partner for 2 years at a start-up recruitment firm managing a national market research recruiting practice. Previous experience includes 10 years as Midwest Recruiting Manager leading a market research recruiting practice for a New York-based recruitment firm.

Maria Vargas
Maria Jose Vargas is the Director of Recruitment Strategy; she manages candidate sourcing initiatives, online marketing campaigns and communication plans, our go-to recruiter at Madison Wells. Maria is a pro at crafting targeted outreach campaigns, using cutting-edge sourcing techniques, and making sure every candidate has an amazing experience. She has previous recruiting experience hiring across various industries for roles at all levels both domestically and internationally.
Maria is also passionate about cultural storytelling. She’s the host of a podcast that dives into the world of TTRPGs; Maria has a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, and brings a unique understanding of cultural dynamics and human behavior to her recruitment game.
